Is This Bad Husbandry?

This does not bode well for ongoing relations.
I have known the tenant for many years. There is no way in the world I would have become his landlord again if it was not for the rights of way that the tenanted land owns.

As the landlord you're responsible for supplying the correct facilities surely ? Clearly needs improvement, I think you should build the tenants a new shed with pens and water troughs
Grazing licence. If he wants to pay more rent than I would definitely consider it.

Can you explain your feelings a bit more?
My position would be that it is my farm and I will walk around it as I wish.

If you let a farm then the tenant has a right to 'peaceable enjoyment' and most tenancies will state that the landlord is free to inspect the property 'with reasonable notice', not 'walk around as you wish', despite what many LL's might think & do.

It is interesting how it is viewed as most likely I am not bothered about the ewe and landlords only want to oppress the tenant.

It is a grazing licence.
