Straight out of the "leftovers" bin and welded on to the main loader tractor. But what is it for?

It appears my clutch plate has started disintegrating and the clutch only disengages at half pedal, pushing the pedal right down re-engages the clutch.

This pedal stopper means the cows got fed yesterday, the heifers got fed this morning and the cows will get fed again today.

It's a busy time of year and I'd rather not split the tractor at this stage. Now, the question is, how long will it last like that? Or, more accurately, how long will it stay like that before I get around to fixing it? Because, technically speaking, it's "working" just fine.

I'm gonna say it'll do a year like that. Maybe 2.

Right it appears JCB have commissioned the same 🤡 that designed the in trailer storage of loading ramps for Ifor Williams, to design the mirror for the pick up hitch on the loadalls,
Great design means that the glass for the mirror hits either the number plate light, or the number plate itself causing the glass to break .
I got some foam pipe lagging tube , cut off a bit and taped it to the number plate light housing to create a crude "pad" to protect glass.

On my model the numberplate light shines upwards where presumably its out of the way of the mirror, but it shines into the mirror obscuring your view of the hitch if you are operating in the dark, or in my case, used to obscure.... as I flattened on a tree

I've a light on the back of mine for hitching in the dark, runs with a relay from the reversing buzzer.

heavy duty  needs a brake on it thats all just to slow it down do that sometin=me easy enough i expect.
the arms holding the wire are wear skids from under the disc mower bed.
another develope ment could be some sort of motor fixed on it as the hex drive shaft is sill under in the cut off bed.
could then be used for winding up if required.

My brother never used to have any quick fixes type ideas to ease a job but one day he did and made a crank out of water pipe bits, a old cable reel just small enough to give clearance from tractor lift arm ball joints and PTO guard, pipe pushed through ball joints, this worked and then got easier as then fitted it through front loader lift arms, like this we laid out and moled in half mile of GPO cable in less than an hour at least 30''inches deep, the reel of that must have been 5ft and a half a ton in weight. There was just a bit of a bother moment as the two lads connecting us up half mile apart neither of them had a good connection, thought we had broken it somewhere, but just a dyslexic moment by both lads sorting out the same colours the same time from several wires.

That's brilliant. I'm in the middle of doing something to unroll net and barb. I'm going to steal your idea and see if I can modify something to do plain wire as well 💡
