Just to settle it.
I replaced the resister yesterday and the heater now works perfectly in all speeds.

With a will. That's how you tackle it. The blower is at the back and controls to the side of these cabs. Unless you get up there and start tackling it, you will never sort it.

Mine has the standard cab. I got a step ladder and an old mat and stood up on the bonnet.There is a plate on the roof that lifts off that gives access to the heater blower and the the resistor.

Sorry to drag up an old thread but I changed the oil in the back end of my 5455 last week, fitted the 3 new filters, 80ltrs of Morris Oil thats recommended but now im getting the warning light for - 17 bar low-pressure oil pressure indicator light - intermittently. Is there any reason for this??

As in the big strainer filter, if so yes. Is there a pre filter somewhere that I don't know about??
enough to bring it up to the higher level mark on the dip stick with the lift arms half ways up and loader half raised.

Perhaps it is the little alloy housing at the side in a pipe run. The power shuttle filter? I seem to remember that the whole housing has to be removed but I haven’t done one in quite a few years.
Which reminds me that my 5445 is well due a transmission oil and filter change just now. Before silage time.

Also known as the most fiddly filter to change on the entire tractor.
We also have one right down in the bottom of the tans, near the drain plug. The hitch frame (or perhaps it is the loader frame?) stops it being accessed.
