I do feel for the farming community, land round here has been sodden for a long old time it seems and only the last few weeks has it seemed that things have properly shot up, imagine the lads and lasses will be very busy getting things in/ working out what's not worked and trying to adapt

There is an awful lot of spring barley going into conditions that, if the weather is not benign, it will not enjoy.
Theres a little bit (20ac ) gone in here yesterday in much better conditions than we/I expected walked field friday and decision was no way. Son walked field sunday morning and go go go , heavy shower shower overnight so for the first time in the last 6 months progress .
