Not the grey bit?
Light blue here. Not the grey bit?
SnettertonI've just come back from a week on holiday in North East Norfolk and the crops generally look excellent over there, good for us livestock boys in the West that there will be some straw around at least
Stalham area, only 3 miles inland, its a different world out there, but to be fair most of the county looked well from what we sawSnetterton
I think ajd132 is probably referring to the straw burning power station and how that draws a lot of straw that'd normally have gone for livestock.Stalham area, only 3 miles inland, its a different world out there, but to be fair most of the county looked well from what we saw
We are in the darkest blue bit
Nah , we'll get the mostWe are in the darkest blue bit
Lots of rain on sandy ground not an issue, lots of rain on clay major issues, it is what it is can't do bugger all about the weatherNah , we'll get the most
Sorry I was being tongue in cheek about the power station there gobbling up all the straw!Stalham area, only 3 miles inland, its a different world out there, but to be fair most of the county looked well from what we saw
Bloody biblical in E YorksWithout looking out of the window, today's light showers not sounding so light.
Theres a little bit (20ac ) gone in here yesterday in much better conditions than we/I expected walked field friday and decision was no way. Son walked field sunday morning and go go go , heavy shower shower overnight so for the first time in the last 6 months progress .There is an awful lot of spring barley going into conditions that, if the weather is not benign, it will not enjoy.
Please keep the cuckoo down there, still a bit left to drill here in Gloucestershire.
He'll soon regret this petulance in the soft far South.
Heard the cuckoo today.
