Combining s/barley this afternoon, with a lexion 600, tried everything we can think of, but we are still losing to much barley over the back, would anyone share their settings, so that we can have better go of it tomorrow,

we have some ground that is cleared of barley straw, and with a change in rotation will be going into spring oats.
What would be the outcome if we were to plant maize now straight into barley stubbles with a rapid lift Vaderstadt system, I now it may be a stupid question but never grown or had...
After a disappointing barley harvest(7.2t/ha av), we need to look at options to fill that barley slot.
