Hi, I have APHA coming tomorrow for a 48hr inspection. They say they want to see "all stock and medicine and death records" ... can anyone tell me what to expect?
Cheers! Joe
Hi,
The protective coating on the floor of my Ifor Williams flatbed is worn through to the ply in places. (It's dark grey, little circles on it...)
Any ideas how best to repair this to prolong its life?
Cheers
I'd love to see an agroforestry forum within this site.
I'm a member of the UK Agroforestry group on Facebook, but not everyone is on Facebook.
Obviously not every aspect of farming can have it's own forum on here, but I'd just like to make the case! Agroforestry is a growing interest, and...
I just wonder how long people think untreated fenceposts made of larch would last. Obviously there are many factors and there will be a big range, but I've got no idea really -- I know larch is considered a durable timber for exterior use, but then the demands on a post in the ground are much...
Hi,
I'm having protracted problems with my square baler! It's a NH Compact Hayliner 65e.
Last year the knots tied well, but it was breaking a lot of shear pins, so pre season I adjusted the slip clutch, sharpened and realigned the knives, adjusted the knotter brake and the needle timing to...

My friend (no, really) has bought a 16 foot unbraked bale trailer, which he has bought to turn into a mobile cabin. He's intending to tow it home with a 4x4. I said 'ummmm...'
Can anyone point me to the...

I've got some broken parts on my New Holland Hayliner Compact 65e
One of the cast iron tine holders on the feeder carriage has broken. It still works, but for how long...? (See pic)
Also three of the torsion springs that hold the tines in working position have corroded and...
Hi!

We have found new bolts (1.5" 5/16"UNC) - and they have three notches, which I understand means Grade 5 - Standard grade steel. It's not clear...
Hi,
I have a lovely Ferguson 2 furrow plough... the manual says I should apply a rust preventative to the mouldboards after use. Does anyone know a good currently available product for this purpose?
Many thanks
Joe
