Some background! Thanks for all that folks, unfortunately have run into few problems with the 6270, it has run the roll pins in the backend holding a shaft joint. Fixed this easy enough through side but has happened a second time within a week. Have discovered play in bearings leading to crown...

It's a matter of damage limitation now where I'm concerned, don't want to be spending another £200 replacing bearings maybe upto £1000 on brakes followed by hydraulic pump failure by filings etc.

Just bought a 6270, nice clean tractor, had a wee problem after getting it where lost drive to wheels with a coupling undone in rear. A good mf mechanic got going OK with just new roll pins needed. However he says brakes needs done as well with alot of residue present, it may be expensive...
