As a contractor, I am increasingly getting requests for data , mainly yield maps by agronomy firms. I also have a friend who does a lot of soil sampling and he is finding the same. He, having already given his customers maps and spreading plans over the years is being asked to do all the legwork...
As a contractor I have numerous customers who would like their yield data uploading onto either Gatekeeper or Omnia. I have uploaded all the yield data onto the Mynewholland portal but cannot find a way of exporting the yield data for individual farms.
I do not want to just hand out the memory...
Having come to the conclusion that the vario in our MF7495 is shot (thanks for the help from members on here) I can come across these guys https://www.swinnertonmachinery.co.uk/transmission-repair-reconditioning/
Having spoken to them they seem very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the vario...
Our 7495 has developed an intermittent fault.
When driving on the road and decelerating down a hill the drive sometimes seem to briefly disengage/ re-engage/ disengage/ re-engage.
Other times the transmission drive sounds like its fluttering or resonating but again, only when decelerating down...
We have an ongoing problem with our MF 7495 where the hydraulic oil is slowly being transfered into the gearbox. It appears to be worse when a spool is used in constant pumping.
I have has the main hydraulic load sensing pump resealed which didn't stop the problem. So i then had the pump fully...
We have just bought an mf 7720s and are mounting a seed pipe up the side of the cab. It is a Pottinger seed pipe with a single mounting bracket in the centre.
On our 7495 we brought a bracket off the exhaust mounting, but this isn't possible on the 7720. The steps don't look very strong due to...
The electric spool valves on our 7495 keep throwing up an error stating that the valve is not in the expected position. This is happening on all 4 valve.
We have changed the filter in the back of the valves and the pilot solenoid on the left hand side of the valve.
Does anybody know of any...
Hi
It's my first time using the front dual control on our MF 7495. I have managed to set the delay between lowering the front linkage and then the rear linkage. But no matter how I set it I cannot manage to get a delay between lifting the front linkage and the rear linkage.
As soon as I hit the...
We have a NH 7.210 that refuses to stop the engine when you turn the key off.
There is an error code 14022 that relates to the instrument cluster. The first few time this fault occurred, wobbling the plug in the dashboard would stop the engine, but now it fails to do so.
Has anybody else had...
I'm fitting some new common rail fuel injectors to the John Deere engine in the sprayer, but can't seem to find what torque the clamp bolts need to tighten them down.
Can anybody enlighten me?
Thanks in advance.
Bumble Bee.
Our 7495 seems to be slowly transferring oil from the hydraulic tank to the backend. Everything is driving ok.
Does anybody have any ideas what this could be?
I was wondering where the braking system gets its oil from. Could it be leaking in through the carden brake etc?
Any advice appreciated.
I recently bought a second hand sprayer from a farmer. I went and looked at the machine in person before agreeing a deal.
The farmer originally agreed to fix a few items on the machine before i picked it up. Unfortunately he now disputes this and has not done the work.
When the machine was...
I'm hopefully building another bowser this winter and would like to plate it to keep it all legal. Does anybody have any idea as to how I'd get this done?
We haven't ploughed since 2012 (some fields longer). We used a Claydon until 2016 and have used a Weaving GD since.
I am now starting to see areas in spring beans that appear to be affected by compaction or tight soil.
We trialled half a field with a Sumo grassland subsoiler and the beans look...
I would like to hear users opinions on the Dynamic Feed Roller on CR combines.
How does it compare to the APS system with regards larger stones?
Being contractors we have a few customers who aren't to fussy about picking stones. I'm just a bit worried that the DFR will sustain damage should a...
There is proposal for a new sugar beet factory in North Yorkshire between Harrogate and York.
The proposal has not been put forward by British Sugar but by a company called Al Khaleej from Dubai.
A bit of competition for British Sugar at last!
We have run a soil engaging implement for a number of years (manufacturer and dealer to remain anonymous).
Up until recently all parts have been supplied direct next day by the manufacturer. Due to this, we have always carried a reasonable stock of spare parts ourselves.
Now that a dealer has...
