After opinion on Kockerling Jockey drill , looks a good drill for later drilling , what are they like drilling into trash and also will the rear press work in the wet on heavy ground
Think of buying a John Deere 6215 with green star rtk , can you only get the rtk subscription through your jd dealer or could you use rtk farming , the other option is to keep my Trimble rtk screen and use that but not sure of cost to fit that up to go through the John Deere steering valves
Thanks for that , we are going to try running a carrier type disc in front of the drill to give us a bit of tilt then run the drill tines at about 4 inches then broadcast the seed behind
I have got a 4 mtr horsch sprinter drill which has Dutch industries 1 inch coulter points , I have been thinking of direct drilling osr with it but running the tines at around 5 inches and pulling the pipe off the coulter to just broadcast the seed on behind the tines, has anyone tried this ?
I have got a Honda 2 inch pump for washing the yard and sheds down , I have stepped the outlet down to 1 inch pipe with a 3/4 nozzle on the end , does a good job and has good pressure

Been using s Trimble screen on Rtk for a few years now and have got all tramlines set in the right place , I now want to record field boundaries but keep tramlines in same place is this possible
We have got a new to us claas 740 this season , can anyone give some good setting for osr ,wheat and spring barley coming from a new Holland Cx 8070 so just need to get my head round a rotary combine
Has anyone tried direct drilling wheat with 1 inch point ,thought they might move less soil than the 5 inch point but not sure if spacing would be to wide
