After opinion on Kockerling Jockey drill , looks a good drill for later drilling , what are they like drilling into trash and also will the rear press work in the wet on heavy ground

This drill is excellent in trash with four rows of tines at 16.7cm tube spacing. The rear double sts roller fills with soil and the friction between the soil on the ground and the roller keeps it turning. The ring spacing on the packer matches the tines on the drill so every row is consolidated consistently. This drill will continue to work when other drills with rubber tyre packers have long since stopped working.

Good drill but you won’t tow it in November conditions. It’ll run better than a Horsch ST but not in mounted territory. Check out ‘it’s a farming life for me’ on you tube. Andy runs one and likes it. I think he’s on here but can’t remember his user name so can’t tag him.

I have currently got a Horsch sprinter 4 mtr but its not great in the wet with the front and rear tyre packer , would the Jockey put beans in ok ?

The jockey would be fine for putting beans in plenty of people do
