Think of buying a John Deere 6215 with green star rtk , can you only get the rtk subscription through your jd dealer or could you use rtk farming , the other option is to keep my Trimble rtk screen and use that but not sure of cost to fit that up to go through the John Deere steering valves

Not familiar with Ag Leader, do you have the SteerCommand box between the AgLeader screen and the tractor (which tractor brand)?
Everything is John Deere except the modem, tractors were all autotrac ready and were running JD rtk. We now have our own ag leader base station as the price of subscriptions Meant it will pay for itself in roughly three years. Also have ag leader rtk modems in two New Holland combines.

Is that a fixed base station on barn? How wide an area do you cover with your RTK signal?
