Both our 7619's had the same. Turned out to be the potentiometer, after the mechanic changed it en calibrated the transmission both are fine again now.

Mf 7718 full revs at 50k??

Did you measure your speed on GPS (on your phone for example)? Or just what the dashboard says?

    Mf 7480

I use to drive in "normal" pedal drive, but sometimes I use the DTM also. On my 7619 DVT you can set the minimum and maximum rev's in the dashboard screen. Also you can set if it works all the time (clock symbol) or when using hydraulics/pto/rear lift. Since I drive with a dump trailer mostly...

    MF 6499 front suspension

That works for the 6485 d6 we have. 7600 series you have to switch the suspension off and then push the button 6 times fast after each other. Then let it do it's thing.

    massey 6400 cab suspension again

For as far as I know they are the not adjustable. That's why I liked the air suspension on my 6485 more than the spring/damper suspension on the 7600/7700 series. The adjustable suspension is quite a lot better but not easy to build on yourself...

Could still be his first choice I guess. It never hurts to demo a few others before deciding.

Best tractor from 220hp to 250hp

The tractor as a whole? Or specific the engine? Our Sisu powered MF's haven't had any troubles engine related. The previous Perkins one didn't have major issues either, but sure used a bit of oil once in a while... Sisu's never have to be filled between regular oil changes. On top of that I...

Best tractor from 220hp to 250hp

Exactly my point, so they shouldn't have put them on the market that way. What I'm trying to state is that you or anyone else shouldn't bash on a specific brand so much because every brand has its own troubles. I you like fendt better, enjoy that you can afford it! But please don't grap every...

Best tractor from 220hp to 250hp

The matter is that they should have made them that way the first time around.... You saying it has to do with emission the engine is not reliable is not an argument in my opinion. All engine makes have to keep up to the same standards so one having trouble makes them less reliable than others...

Best tractor from 220hp to 250hp

Doesn't matter. For as far as I can see there is no superior engine around. All have their positive en negative sides. All have some troublesome series. But as far as my experience goes Susu/Agco power engines are generally reliable en deliver the promised HP easily. Example a Fendt 720...
