    Pregnant ewe lambs, condition score 4

    This is my first time lambing ewe lambs. They've been on grass and hay. I've just penned them up to see how they're getting on and they're generally fat. I'd guess average of four ("edge of short ribs feels like the edge of a palm ") They've six weeks to go. Should I aim to slim them down...

    Calcium Deficiency

    My mates had 3 big..strong ewes go down with calcium deficiency...lost 1 and another looks dodgy.... any idea how to get the calcium levels up in the flock to try and avoid any further problems ?

    Whats the thought of molasses for sheep this year

    Basically as above, a farmer i bale for always praised molasses for his sheep prelambing, he still fed meal but said he noticed that molasses helped, he had good silage to start with and texel cross ewes with very good shapes. I can get molasses at £218 a ton never used it before but this year...

    Cattle minerals

    What's the cheapest/best form of minerals. Been using all trace boluses last couple of years but it's quite a job getting them down the beats throat. Even with a headscoop there is a lot of flailing about. At least with bucket licks I used before I don't risk getting knocked out.

    Crystalix vs Supalyx high energy

    Hi all, normally a Crystalix block user but Supalyx seems a good bit cheaper local to myself. Is the Supalyx block as good a product or is it simply less money for a lesser product? Thanks in advance for any thoughts!
