I’ve had the 7740 for a few months now, it’s a 1993 pre quad mod tractor with 8600 hours and I’m getting on well with it apart from the gearbox Bering a bit temperamental.
When the gearbox is calibrated it drives nicely, possibly a little jerky which from my research points to the accumulator...

Scotland one of the poorest places on Earth for nature
A statement from chief exec of Scotland,: The Big Picture who is attending the debate on reintroducing lynx in Scottish Parliament today.
Has he been out of Scotland?
Of course lynx, like all the raptors, are apex species which hoover up...
Hello,
Does anybody have some good suggestions for empty spray containers, lids, cardboard?
I’d like to have something which is tidy and has plenty of storage. What do most people use? IBC cages with empty feet bag tied inside?
Any ideas/picture/tips would be appreciate.
thank you
He obviously got out of the bed the wrong side (as my Mum would say).
My Reply:
I wish to reply to David Buttle in last week’s edition.
As a cereal grower I home-save and also buy-in seed. Almost without exception the home saved is better quality, mainly due to fact that it has been over a...
Any pros and cons to a concrete mixing bucket for a telehandler? Have plenty of oil flow so that wouldn't be an issue.
Do they end up throwing concrete all over the machine?
Any brands that are better than others?

........... the horse was lost; and for want of a horse the rider was lost".
We've all been there! The fuel gauge on a MF 390 shows empty even though the tank is still half full, so there's a temptation to keep running. So I have a dry tank. The starter is lazy so priming has to be from...
After my last one met an unfortunate end under loader bucket, I need to buy a new tool box.
I usually carry must commonly needed stuff in one box, s8 - 32mm spanners, sockets, allen keys, screwdrivers etc etc.
However I think I might get a couple smaller ones instead - sockets and spanners in...

Very nice shiny advert.
What interested me was it's location.
Apparently 20mins from me. Will be even closer for @nick...

I feel like I need one in my life.
Not 100% sure why, but there's always something that needs bending etc.
Do many people have them, and are they useful? I don't have a press of any sort currently, if you don't count a loader bucket and a concrete step...

Looking for a small grain/feed bin, capable of taking blown pellets and nuts, wants to be high enough to get a loader bucket under the spout/side shute. Doesn’t need to be 6t but needs to be 5t minimum.
good condition required as will be outside.

Evening all,
Considering dropping in a water pipe to save on a lot of earaches. Need to take it about 1km. Guessing a trencher is the best option, assume pipe will needed to be sanded in etc.
I can work out the cost of the pipe, fittings and sand but not sure on labour to unravel the thing and...
I have just seen the trailer on the forthcoming series, due to commence airing on 10th February 2023.
It looks brilliant with Kaleb ,Gerald & Charlie to name a few.
I know that my non farming friends will be glued to their television screens ,and then on the phone to me.
I am however very...
