1000 litre tank with hole in it

Just wondering if its possible to patch the hole in the bottom of a 1000 litre IBC tank? I'll attach a photo to this post. The hole is just at the bottom end of the little black squiggle. I can turn it into something else if it's possible but it'd be useful to have another water tank seeing as I have this on farm already.

Hot weld it. Heating a butter knife and doing it yourself is as good as anything. Fibreglass will just crack off.
I believe you can get a kiddies toy which involved hot melting plastic beads. My cousin has used them to fix such things. I think you iron them on.

You could try roughing the clean surface and apply a soft plastic patch held in place with clear mastic? Use an old plastic can for the patch material. Surfaces must be clean and rough to give the mastic something to stick to.
But the plastic beads seem a very good solution, not sure of the colour though?

Forget the small child you'd need Stretch Armstrong

I'm going to have another look at the tank and I actually may well just seal the hole with the hot glue and turn it into a little feed silo ala the other thread in this forum.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
