14 year old plastisol coated box profile sheets.

I Re-clad some buildings around 14 years ago, I've noticed the coating on the edges of some sheets is peeling back, exposing the steel which is starting to rust, it's worse where it's exposed to full sun. Recommedations for treating these areas? I'm thinking of rubbing down and applting hammerite. I'd like them to last another 20 years, then it'll be someone else's problem! Thank you.

Youd need something that bonds both to metal and the plastic paint.

I passed a commercial building the other week that seemed to have the issue the contractor there was pressure washing ( maybe that should be blasting off as it seemed a big pump on the washing tool )the plastic coat and was I assume going to repaint the whole structure

wouldnt use plastisol on agri buildings, inside surface paint not for aggressive atmospheres.
painting only likely repair.

They are usually galvanised underneath too, then undercoated on the rear, plastisol on the front.

yes galvanised but maybe 5micron paint instead of 25 to 30micron

Inside surface in good order, the only issue is plastisol peeling at some full-sun exposure edge.s
