With a ridge high pressure over the country most parts are looking at a dry day with lots of sunshine after any morning fog patches have disperse. The exception will be Across Northern Ireland and the Western Isles as cloud will be increasing in the afternoon in advance of an approaching front, wind and rain into western Scotland and Northern Ireland. The north and the west will be very windy with gusts to 40 mph around western coasts and gusts up to 50 mph across the Western Isles. A cloudy day across the rest of UK with outbreaks of light drizzle across Scotland, northern England, Northern Ireland and western Wales. In the afternoon the rain turns more persistent and a bit heavier as it crosses the country, dry and brighter conditions will follow. High of 18C/64F

How wet is it going to be in Lincolnshire Wednesday evening / Thursday morning, and is it going to turn nice and stay nice for a week or two after?

Hi Static
Present indications are going for low pressure out west and a big Scandinavian High to the east which will try and extend west in the Lincolnshire, but weather fronts will always be close to the west and could at times move east, also we must
keep an eye on ex -tropical storms which could be heading for the UK.

So I’d say best of any dry weather seems likely from Sunday to Friday (in the East) but with a shower possible.further outlook uncertain stay with metjeffuk for updates.

Hope that helps

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
