so ...got 120 ewes on 2 ac fb with 2 ac grass runback....2 'new shiny' rams one beltex one beltex/tex.....can they do the lot?

2 rams to 120 ewes is no problem but I would prefer them in more ground so the rams aren’t in top of each other all them time and the ewes gave room to go find the ram better.

It’ll prob be fine though?

good point....hadn't thought of that.......in fact i thought smaller area would help rams

putting a third ram in could make it worse?

We don’t have many good fields over 4acre... 140 ewes and 4 rams we usually do.
Took the early rams out today, 20 ewes, 3 rams. Never see them fighting once there’s ewes are involved, mature rams never fight with us, only idiotic ram lambs having a go at each other :banghead:

My Exlana’s will be in 1-75 and 1-50.

It would probably depend on the type of Beltex. There are some about with shocking mobility. But yes, they should be capable of doing that, provided one doesn't go lame, or is firing blanks, or....

I'd not be concerned about only having 4 acres to run over, that'll be fine.
