You can't have a swingover rapid exit
Any good?
By Half a man do you mean someone very small?
I can't see a benefit. Download parlour wizard from the ahdb I found that presented an honest appraisal of the value of various options in various circumstances.I'm not sure what you mean when you say efficiency of man and machine. Are you saying more efficient per unit? Are you saying you wouldn't need a rapid exit for a 40/80? For one man remember....
usually most people just choose a swingover to cut costs. they are only really common place in low yielding grazing systems in Ireland, UK and NZ ( with the vast majority of other countries opting for double up )
Does anyone milking in a 20:40.
If so how much milk do you harvest per man hour and how many cows do you milk per man hour.
Heard of someone recently put in a 36/72 would think that would keep you busy.
Depending on time of year, average about 100 cows and 1350 litres. That's everyday not gunning it or spot rate, but with the benefit of autodipping.
Near Ladock, I think?
Are you doing any prep? As soon as you see all the units off do you just open the gate?
Would there be much difference in price between a 24/24 or 16/32 . Basic Feeding acrs and milk meters. Are all new palours the same ie they milk x number of cows per hour. Does it really mater which brand. Looking at new palours for 150. Currently have a20/20. Can have on 120 units in 65 mins late summer no hick ups. Looking at 24/24 16/32. Any advice
Are atl and milfos the sameI think ATL are hard to beat for simplicity, reliable and if anything does go wrong or you have any issues you can lift the phone and ring the folks that made it. Also they're plug and play, each part can be changed without a whole lot of hassle.
