In a bind with a job that we always do and can't get the usual tractor to pull the loads.

Got a 60+ mile round trip to cart bales, (just don't even ask) and some VERY big hills that sap all power so we run the 2170 JCB and usually a 4220 with a loader but can't get it.

Can anyone help me out as to where might have one or an idea on how to get them home or if anyone would load up for me at the other end ect? Will have the best part of 300 to shift

Thanks all

No help at all , but is there much difference in journey times between 4220 and 2170.

Ahh interesting, doesn't go like you'd think this run. I get the 2170 (one of very few times a year I do :ROFLMAO:) and that's been turned up to 230 with a bigger bale trailer on that'll carry another 4 bales. Hill right out of the place we bale and it splits into a two lane set up, crawler type. The 2170 will completely and totally, in every way f**king muller the 4220 on the way home. It shocked us both when I was smashing past him at a good 6-7 mph faster and waving all the way :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: It's a 3 mile climb up that hill and the next time the 2170 will be seen is 20 mins later 4 miles ahead of the 4220 going round a corner up another big hill from a long straight. That 2170 is possessed, we can't find enough weight to REALLY slow her up and we've a 32ft Stewert box full of cattle and she still pulls hard.

After that the only time the two are back together is in the yard after I've had enough time to unstrap and pretty much unload the trailer. Boss man takes the empty larger trailer back and I chase him down with the smaller one after I've stripped it to go load up again.

It's a bloody lovely few days to be totally honest and a nice break from the norm but this year the old 6430 may have to put a few shifts in I fear :woot:

No contractor available the other end? perhaps if you put the location of the other end on here someone might make a recommendation, I've got a MF7620 with loader you could have but can't see its worth carrying it up there for 300 bales
