Hello,
I purchased a 2013 Freelander TD4 a few months back. Great vehicle to drive!!
It has the phone buttons on the steering wheel and main console. It also has what is called the low line head unit at the top of the console. It is an Australian exported version, if that differs from the UK model.
On the internet there is debate about the 2013 model having bluetooth as standard. I did a VIN check and it indicates my car has the bluetooth module fitted and from what I can gather the 2013 model has it in front of the head unit not at the side of the wagon rear.
I can't get it to pair to my phone, and I can only get as far as "select phone" on the main screen.
Would my car have it? Are there alternative ways to access it and is there an aftermarket version available. Many after market units advertise compatible 2007 to 2012 models only.
