Wet It’s causing a few problems just have to wait and see what the damage is my guess going to be 1/3 complete write off just planted with pit holes / corners and some headlands on top. ☹️ what about the poor chaps with maize not harvested that’s going to be tricky.

Today is the day we started drilling in ‘19 !!
6th Feb 2020 here shouldn’t have bothered though as it pee'd down a few days after and most of it didn’t make it. Then drilled spring barley in March and Shouldn’t have bothered with that either. In fact harvest 2020 I should have not drilled anything would have been cheaper

we did some on 6th feb also, if i remember right it was followed by three storms in 3 weeks and had water everywhere.

Yup it was some of the best conditions in spring, then we got some crazy storms. We took my lad for his birthday into York on I think the Sat and it was glorious. Then it just heaved it down for two weeks. I remember our weather station reading something like 120mm/hr at one point you could see the lakes form
