But look at the forecast temperatures for Rutland! 30+C for the weekend and early next week. But to be honest I’m beginning to doubt we are going to manage 27C today it’s midday and still only 11C! 😂
At least with this forecast I can be pretty sure they’ve got it wrong!
My Weather Pro is doing exactly the same its giving me a high of 33 C next week !!! Some sort of glitch in the matrix I'd say !

sowed w/wheat here after fodder beet on 10th of march this year did circa 2.5T acre , i think we were lucky!
Big difference between mid Feb & mid March. Plus this year has been poor for spring barley the obvious alternative so 2.5 ton not bad really. A more normal summer spring barley yeilds would be likely a ton/acre more than this year. Wheat versus spring barley sown Feb, the wheat would be much hardier. From 1st March maybe spring barley would get a way quicker?

Plus this year it was dry mid Feb & sodden by 10th March (from memory)
