I recon we’re about 10 days off starting here. Very variable looking yield. 2 farms are looking fantastic but one farm much slower as older seed but thinking its best to whip it off and be done with it

I've still to top up the N here after slurry,which was worth 45 units in old money.

It's all relative. On the 10th April we'd call it grand for perennial.

Problem is they are making 30+ DM silage whereas if we get 26% or better we think we’ve done well despite tedding immediately behind the mower and again in front of the rake. Island livin’

Suspect they compact feed as well and their genetics are second to none. And to think that the US ambassador Woody Johnson called EU farming medieval. pr*ck

1 liter of effluent will produce 0.9 liters of milk. Prehaps some soya hulls mixed in to soak it up...
