We have a new 4 mtr 750A .
Has anyone got practical experience of the lifting and lowering characteristics of the centre and outer Coulter gangs?
It's quite noticeable that the centre gang and LH side wing lift and lower in relation to each other but the RH side is late lowering and last to lift out.
This has the effect that when raising , it gets a surge of oil as the other two gangs finish moving first causing a very abrupt and rapid movement.
Is this normal for a 4 mtr?
We have the SCV in constant pump and the valve on the drill set for Closed Centre.
Have played with oil flow settings but still very aggressive on that right hand side.
There doesn't appear to be anyway to synchronise the lift as the lines are plumbed in line down stream from the valve chest.

If it’s new you need to talk to your dealer. I’ve had three 4 m drills and every one of them had all the coulters rise and lower simultaneously. There’s something wrong with yours.

Thats how we imagined it should lift and lower.
Dealer is a bit stumped but I'm wondering if there's air in system.

It sounds to me as though one of the hydraulic lines to the slow moving ram has some sort of restriction in it, either a coupling, hose or the port of the ram itself. Flow to that ram isn’t as it should be and it isn’t until all the others have reached their travel that the pressure ramps up and then it moves too fast.
