Here's a sexy new gadget from Three called a Home-Fi unit. Works on the same principle as a mi-fi unit HOWEVER.....it has a far greater range of signal, it comes on a 12 month contract at £20 per month for 40Gig per month, you can link 30 units onto it, it has Ethernet ports and external aerial ports. Literally take it out the box, plug it in where you can get a 3g or 4g signal (mines on a south facing window upstairs) and Bobs your uncle, home broadband. Obviously wont work if you cant get any sort of network coverage, but, if like me you live in a rural area, but you can just about get a 3/4G signal if you stand in the right spot, then this is a far better and bigger service than the mi-fi units of old.
