I’m trying to check our 4g connection speed and not having much luck. Tried numerous website (google search) and it’s ranging from 15 up to 60 🤷🏻‍♂️.
Looking to dump the phone line as we can only get 8 but would like to know a real 4g figure. Any idea?

Run just now, on a 2020 SE. I'd have a good look at your phone permissions.

No it doesn’t. I’m not on Wi-Fi as already explained above 👆🏻
Which network you on ? Has your phone got "4G' along the top line.

Just seen your screen shot. Good strong 4G signal.
When we were on 4G broadband on 3 / 4 bars of signal was getting around 50 download. Subject to the router being in a good place, ideally on the side of the house facing the local mast. An antenna helps

If you have a 4G router already with a booster, then just take your SIM out of your phone put it in and then run the test from a few devices around your house.

If you do it from a mobile due to the antenna size you will not get a true set of results. Also a good tool for testing this is Opensignal.

I can get 4G on a good day with a directional dish on top of a grain bin, but my local phone mast is throttling the speed due to not enough bandwidth at mast....
Net result is the speed is very change able / often slower than my 12mb broadband....

Generally the upload is about double the download, which makes me think there throttling it.
You guys might have better luck than me.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
