Bought 4 lengths from TFM to go in front of the neighbours willow tree ☹️, £25 each, didn’t try anyone else.

Wouldn't worry....at least you didn't buy from Jeremy Clarkson's favourite store.

£50.04 + VAT unperforated
£53.50 + VAT perforated

Be worth asking:

Ring jdp as you usually get quoted a better price than the one on their website , Find them good to deal with and delivery not silly

You’ll just have to phone around. When we were building our house it was incidetally Wynnstay was the best value for most drainage stuff and they had then all in stock. Few years later on another job here they couldn’t tough Huws Gray which was near enough online prices. Unless you need artic loads there’s no reason not to buy local and keep local workforce in work is how I look at it

They do offer great service though.

Try total pipe solutions, yet to find anyone to beat them

Agrii.
That's a new one.

Is there a BS spec for twinwall, they don't all look quite the same?
Not in Scotland it isn’t. Big agricultural drainage & water pipe supplier in these parts since taking over CSC crop protection around 15 years ago.
Not sure about BS specs but this stuff was Polypipe brand.

There are bs numbers or specs but they are just a minimum requirement. There did used to be two specs of twinwall from some manufacturers but not sure if there is now. Tbh most makes look fairly similar now.

Polypipe used to be the best twinwall pipe by a mile imo (provided it was blue inside) but I've not used any for a long time so don't know if it's still the same quality.

Be tree roots choked the previous concrete one I bet.

Putting twin wall close to a willow tree won't stop the roots getting in. 2 years ago I installed a new field drain outfall that went close-ish to a willow tree, it ran perfectly for 18 months, then late last year it stopped and water started oozing up everywhere. Rodded it the other day, tree roots were blocking it, must have got in the joints, as it was non-perforated.
