750 discs- new supplier?

I see on Phil Needham's US Website he is starting to supply john deere 750 discs from a French Company called Forge de Niaux and reckons they're 51.7-55 rockwell C. He also seems to be able to sell them for $35 out there so they must be available cheaper for us somehow.

Beeversales appear to be Forge de Niaux Uk importer

Forge de Niaux are an OEM manufacturer for JD and used to be 48-52 HRC.Spaldings discs are meant to be 53-54HRC. Wear isn’t linear to hardness, when I used to drill in a lot of flints I’d get 3 weeks life out of a 48-52 HRC disc and a year ( 2500 acres, 4m drill) out of a set of 55 HRC discs which are sadly not available at the moment.

PS Ingersoll are also OEM supplies to JD.

Simon, I need to fit a new set of discs and boots, what discs are you recommending that are currently available? Thanks

Any photos of your fully worn boots please, just wondering if ours are properly done yet as changing discs soon....going for Spaldings ones this time as as last JD set was very disappointing so worth a try i think.

I need to replace the lower boots in my 3m. Looked to change to single piece but that’s an expensive option vs just the lower half.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
