If The regulator on the fan motor is nearly shut, and the flow from the tractor is in max, can it cause the oil to overheat and damage seals in the couplings? Is it best to have motor regulator open and adjust tractor flow?
Open the regulator on fan and slow tractor hyds down, as you are forcing oil against the regulator on the motor all the time which will overheat the oil imoIf The regulator on the fan motor is nearly shut, and the flow from the tractor is in max, can it cause the oil to overheat and damage seals in the couplings? Oil will overheat, and the life of the Hydraulic motor will be greatly reduced. The coupling seals however should not be a problem. If The regulator on the fan motor is nearly shut, and the flow from the tractor is in max, can it cause the oil to overheat and damage seals in the couplings? Slight deviation, but 750a fan query. I recently had a demo of a 6 m machine, and noticed that the seed distribution was not very good. You could go up a slot finding no seed for 2 feet and then suddenly find a lot all bunched in about 6 inches length. Would an incorrect fan speed cause this issue? It was running at 4200rpm.
off topic I know but how often should the two grease nipples on the opener be greased and how much ?
