She spent 3 months near Aviemore overseeing Groundworks investigations for the widening and dualling work for Atkins, in 2021. Loved the free time at weekends exploring Scotland with a free truck and fuel.

When I first came to the north, the A9 was single track with passing places beyond Inverness and if you saw another car you waved! Not much better north of the Dornoch Bridge today!
