Just in the process of getting mains water, already had to buy 500m of barrier pipe because Welsh Water said there is a danger of a tractor leaking diesel in the fields which could percolate 750mm deep to get through the water pipe. Now having trouble finding someone to issue a chlorination...

In light of difficult weather conditions, farmers are being urged to focus on achieving between 28-33% of dry matter (DM) when ensiling grass, as this is pivotal to good fermentation.

I’ve purchased a second hand 828 with 6000hrs on the clock. I know there’s been many threads on here saying they are bad and some say good. The previous owner said hasn’t missed a beat and doesn’t use engine oil. I’m wondering what are the tell tale signs of the engine or what’s to look out...

On a 40k tractor, they mostly do more than 40k but lets assume it does 40k on the dot, if its running 650/65r38, if that was changed to 650/65r42 what would the difference in top speed be?
The new house is significantly rural and losing power is a real possibility. During Beast for the east, they didn't have any for a week. Got an oil boiler and borehole, young children and looking to ensure we don't have enormously long periods without water, light and heat. Can we put in a wall...

At first glance, the Ineos Grenadier is little more than a revamp of the old and much missed Land Rover Defender, but such an assumption is totally misplaced as becomes immediately apparent when encountering one in the flesh.
The new vehicle does...
some pretty generous grants about, all seemingly based on reducing out put.
we know from sheep and cattle prices, numbers are short, if they were not, prices wouldn't be where they are.
the world is getting more dangerous by the day. And yet, politicians here, from all parties, think we can...
What snap bag do you have? Currently use a DeWalt rucksack but thinking of something like the JCB cool bag with plenty of pockets. A rucksack is ok but I m sort of thinking a bag that has stiff sides so my flasks don't fall over possibly with internal pockets. Need to fit two flasks a pop bottle...
Hi all, this year I've decided no more fert.....for now. Got fed up with fert and spray market profiteering and making sure even if we got a huge lift in price for any produce we were only allowed to make the same money as they'd take it all back the next season. Didn't help not having the space...
