AB15 2 year legume fallow

How are you all getting on sowing the AB15? I've done half after wholecrop but the other half after Crusoe wheat on heavy land is proving tricky. Having straw swaths down for 3 weeks didn't help. Hoping to get it sown early next week when tomorrow's deluge has dried off.

what was the deadline for AB15 under CS and under the new wonderful SFI scheme again please ..was it the 7th September please?

please avoid AB15.. its not a great option in reality if you follow the rules and plan wheat after it.. The satillites watch your parcels all summer so you cant pull a fast one either... all the best

Inked it in to follow winter barley next time after struggling with following spring

What’s the latest to cut it.defra bumf says latest end of October but thinking it might not recover much as days getting shorter and cooler too.woukd like a reasonable cover for wildlife for the winter.thinking May do it mid to end sept.any advice wellcome

Why not cut it after the pollinators are finished and maybe 50% now and 50% in a months time as it is after all an Environmental payment🤔

Later this week, spraying volunteers off in the morning.
