Access to home via farm track

The question was not complex-can I put up a fence without the landowner's permission?-was fully answered, and usually, as in @Goweresque's reply, with an explanation. If you re read the OP, you will see that she already knew the answer as she had asked permission, which was refused.

As I said OP didn't get the desired answer so, rather than accept it, they kept asking the same question in different forms.

I haven’t read the whole thread ( anything over 30 posts and I lose interest).
Would it be possible for the OP to pay for a cattle grid at both ends of the track along with a gate to run stock through when necessary. As for sheep muck on the track, I think he will have to live with it.

If you were to ask a complex question to a diverse group, would you be satisfied with a brief simple explanation by a very small portion of the group?

It isn't that complex a question. All the answers the OP received initially (3 pages of them) were of one accord - look at your deeds for who is responsible for the track maintenance, and no, you can't put up a fence if you only have a right of access and don't own the access track itself. It was only after the OP threw her toys out of the pram that things deteriorated into a bit of a bun fight.

As you say a simple matter and now she knows that putting a fence up is not seen as sensible by many. She probably wont ask another question on here though, which is a bit sad.

Simple matters often spawn long threads on TFF. Just look at RT, it exists because customers want it, end of but there's still dozens of threads about it, where that simple little fact hasn't sunk in yet.;)
