Not one thing in that consolation refures to deleting ad blue for off road use as we were discussing.

i thought youd made reference to the red diesel off road use?

Of course you cannot tamper with emissions equipment, even if never used on the road, thats why there is NRMM emission requirments!

Cant see rt bein fit to enforce that as for a start thier inspectors arent mechanics or trained in diagnostics also if they start doin this sure u could just hide the offending tractors over at the neighbours on inspection days

What like most farmers do with there sprayers and other bits of old machinery

Thanks for the link, after a look through that seems to be for manufacturers to get type approval for their engines into Europe, I read nothing in legislation that applies once the engine is in use other than anyone making adjustments to fuel and addbule "should therefore be responsible for ensuring that the applicable emissions limits are respected", nothing yet to say they can walk across your feild and turn your tractor off until you get your addbule turned back on again. But for the record my adblue is in place, but all are running better fuel maps than when new in my opinion and of course I'm fully responsible for everything that goes on here.

A couple of my tractors have just come out of warranty. Does anyone recommend someone to do the necessary to delete the need for ad blue. I hasten to add that these machines never go on the road. Thanks.

How would they know its disabled?

All that would happen is guage stays at 100%.

I think that the government are looking at tightening up the rules on this.
Currently though, a tractor with deleted ad blue might be a selling point.

A properly refined remap should not produce any visable smoke.

It would seem to be a "smoke " remap, it just makes the car smoke and not muck else.

I know some manufacturers fit the DPF as a cartridge that you remove at the designated time (x hours of use) and then have it cleaned and replaced with a service exchange unit. What is to stop someone taking their cartridge to pieces, drilling large holes in it and putting it back in?

The black smoke can be encouraged by partially blocking the air filter. Not that I would ever partake in such practices.
