Ad Blue Delete East Anglia

i thought youd made reference to the red diesel off road use?

Of course you cannot tamper with emissions equipment, even if never used on the road, thats why there is NRMM emission requirments!
Show me the. NRMM that are in place now regarding adblue. ? (not what may, or may not come in place).

Heres a link to start you off
NRMM is why we have the various emissions tiers in tractors, generators trains etc - Many of those (particularly trains and boats) never go on the road
NRMM emission regs have been in place for many years - i assume since we had Tier 1 tractors way back when

Thanks for the link, after a look through that seems to be for manufacturers to get type approval for their engines into Europe, I read nothing in legislation that applies once the engine is in use other than anyone making adjustments to fuel and addbule "should therefore be responsible for ensuring that the applicable emissions limits are respected", nothing yet to say they can walk across your feild and turn your tractor off until you get your addbule turned back on again. But for the record my adblue is in place, but all are running better fuel maps than when new in my opinion and of course I'm fully responsible for everything that goes on here.

I should not worry too much, if they can't chase up all the Taxis and vans chucking out black smoke there is not a chance in hell they will be chasing across a ploughed field after your John Deere

A couple of my tractors have just come out of warranty. Does anyone recommend someone to do the necessary to delete the need for ad blue. I hasten to add that these machines never go on the road. Thanks.
Does anyone know of someone who can help with @Suffolk Ser 's question?

And don't forget the "performance tuned" diesel cars you see about... well what you usually see is a cloud of black smoke as the driver accelerates away from a junction...:rolleyes:
 
I wonder if the same thing applies to DPFs. I know some manufacturers fit the DPF as a cartridge that you remove at the designated time (x hours of use) and then have it cleaned and replaced with a service exchange unit. What is to stop someone taking their cartridge to pieces, drilling large holes in it and putting it back in?

The black smoke can be encouraged by partially blocking the air filter. Not that I would ever partake in such practices.

Pressure sensors before and after the dpf.
