I see no reply to this?
I just wanted to place an add too and found I can’t.
Any clues @Clive

if the item for sale is £350 or over or if you are a dealer then go to www.classifieds.farm and list it there (free) or click the farm classifieds button in the header of any TFF page

the listing will appear on the forum as well as the classified site automatically (sometimes after a short delay for moderator approval)

if you have not used the farm classifieds site before you will need to register separately, your TFF username and password will not work but you can set them the same if you want to. We are working on a universal login across sites including farm marketplce, farm classifieds the new price comparison site we are currently developing but it’s not ready to go just yet

When putting an ad on farm classifieds, there seems to be quite a delay (days) waiting for moderator approval which can be quite frustrating as other platforms such as ebay or facebook marketplace is more instant.
Have you only got one person doing the approvals ? When it eventually does get approved it is probably among numerous adverts (done on block) and then ends up further down the list on the tff classified forum.
What is the reason for approval as other posts are instant of the main forum.

sorry about that. The reason to moderate is spam and fake adverts. Other platforms are plagued with them trying to defraud.

that said our aim is to approve within a few hours.

we know classifieds isn’t quite right and plan is to rebuild it this year with better integration within TFF and hire someone to run it full time.
