Advertising a Housing Development

Don't know if this is in the right section but we have been approached by a Housing Developer about advertising a 56 home development that is currently being built in the village where we farm.
They have asked if they can put some advertising up by our field which is next to a busy roundabout that is at the entrance to the village. The village is a no through road village but it's next to 2 busy roads and 2 busy roundabouts so there is a large volume of traffic that would potentially see this advertising. The housing development can't really be seen from these roads or roundabouts.
We weren't particularly pleased that the development got planning permission as its about 200 yards from a parcel of land we farm but it's happening.
My question is what kind of money figure do you think we should ask for if we decide it's acceptable?

Get a land agent on your case it will make things much easier and make sure the developers cover the cost, don't be greedy it's the easiest money you will ever earn! Atleast it's not a big development if you're worried about people dig your ditches out really well and plant some hedges that stops most people as well as a muddy track

I really have no idea but would like to think£1000- £1500 per sign per year would be about right . Maybe 100 quid a month as long as it’s in the hedge row and and damage to crops is paid for .

Estate agent fees will be under 1% bu with 60 odd houses that’ll add up.

f**k it go for 2k

A field owner Did it around here by busy road.
The developers try and get away long enough without the public, community council and Council planning depts .and enforcement on their case.
Temporary signs seem to stay up for ever without the procedures and charges others got to put up with.
You'll have to deal with all that crap for them as landowner too?

We used to have a couple of signs from Taylor Wimpey and Persimmon. Pretty much worked out at about £1500 a year each. Was a great earned until the local authority kicked up a fuss.
