Advice needed for starting a hemp farm...

Hi all,

hope everyone is keeping safe in this time.

Really need some advice, we have been given the pre approval to start growing hemp crops for extraction in a non E.U country. The country in question has some unique landrace strains and so we were thinking of using those to produce some beautiful oils and medicinal products. As I understand we can only grow E.u registered strains if we were to export into the European market. However the Swiss don’t adhere to this, neither does any oil imported from the U.s.. in the process of writing a business plan and would love to have some help in creating a high quality document to present. Happy to do this on a consul station basis with somebody that can offer some insight with a proven track record of farming. As novices to farming, any knowledge would be invaluable to us.

a few points:

Up to 70 acres available(ideally start small)
Labour is very cheap
Option of greenhouse or outdoor
Mountainous conditions or coastal options available
Local ethanol production facility nearby( ideally ethanol Extraction over Co2)
Would like to export to the E.u but open to the exporting to the whole world.

let me know anything else you want to know.

really appreciate anything which would help or any contacts thatcan point is in the right direction.
Looking to get started A.S.A.P
Again happy to do this on a consultation basis with somebody with a proven track record of farming.

The farm currently produces Vanilla. This would be an expansion into hemp crops. Off which we have the time to learn and improve, under no illusions that we will not make money overnight. Got to start somewhere. Think we have a cool usp, with a landrace strain being grown in its authentic conditions...

In my locale everyone and his dog grew it last year...money no object...............this year only a few hundred acres.
There is vast over-supply coast to coast..............be careful buying seed, there are a million scam artistes out there who will promise you 100% female and be long gone when it matters.
...........Be careful, if it sounds too good to be true...............it is..!
