Looking to get a 9 Ah battery quick look on line and came across Eplusbatteries who supply non genuine batteries for about 1/2 the price of genuine ones . Anyone using them? Are they any good or half the price for a reason ?

not going to comment on the non genuine BUT dont buy a 9amp genuine, buy the 5.5amp, 8amp or the 12amp they have better cells in them for more power. The 9amp does not have a very good reliabluity rating although mine ha been fine so far but i wouldnt buy another one.

nothign wring with the normal 4amp or 5amp genuine ones either just not worth wasting money on the 9amp.

Where do you get your batteries from

look on power tool mate, SGS, and various other on line sellers, also look at ebay as most have ebay shops too and i think at the minute there is a discount voucher code for powertool mate and others via ebay so cheaper than there own websites. just one example below dont know if its the best so search ebay yourself to see

Been on SGS had bits off them but for 8/9 AH battery it’s a £70 odd saving

And there’s a 6% discount for 1st order

Cant comment on non gen milwaukee but i did buy several non genuine ryobi ones ones for my alemite grease gun (gun made by Ryobi) and they were poor compared to genuine, in fact out of the 3 i bought only 1 was useable and even that gave noticeably less power than genuine although it lasted a few years and did what i wanted. (couldn't find genuine roybi at the time cause they had stopped making that type)

I have 4 genuine milwaukee batteries that are around 8 years old now and still work perfectly so for me i wouldn't even consider non genuine.

I bought 2 6AH Makita from Eplusbatteries. Power and charge wise they are good as genuine IMO and are considerably cheaper! The only thing I would say is the construction especially of the outer shell is a bit lighter weight compared to genuine. I've dropped a genuine one now and again and other than a scuff they've been fine. Dropped a non genuine one off the back wheel of the combine onto concrete and the casing all smashed. I'd say a genuine one might not have done the same.
I'm sticking with non genuine for now, when 2 of them costs less than 1 same sized genuine it's hard not to really. The above website seems to do refunds and returns etc and very few bad comments on there Facebook pages so I'm happy.

Genuine 5amp batteries on specal tonight powertoolmate, £41.66 plus vat These are fine for most tools and a 9amp does not perform any better for power than the 5amp and only lasts a bit longer.

Just checked and its free shipping as with vat its above the £45 for free shipping

well in that case then i defiantly wouldn't be skimping on them, you want the 8amp or 12amp high output with the better cells and performance not just lasting longer.
