I watched both of @DaveGrohl 's video and part 2 got me thinking about the methane pause.

So I was thinking what did we do in the 90's that could have caused the pause.

Well we banned CFC's that were harming the ozone layer.

Well it appears that the solvent 111trichloroethane not only reacts with Ozone , it also reacts with Methane.

Interesting article, on the benefits for health of meat eating, this in my opinion answers or counters all the "scientific" arguments of meat free lobby. It doesn't answer the anthropomorphic argument or Disneyfication of animals, but that is another matter.

Kept animals of all types are largely fed on a variety of rubbish that humans would never eat until they find themselves starving. I recall pigs in the UK being fed with Pulverized Pudding that had been collected around the streets from pig bins filled with waste foods.

This thread is being opened after much thought by a group of your fellow TFF members. I think you will all agree that this resource is very much needed. I am sure, like us, you find that on a daily basis you read and hear falsehoods from the media, organisations, Government quangos, etc. At times I guess you hear something and scream to yourself that cannot be left unchallenged. My own personal opinion is that agriculture (in particular) Livestock is facing a challenge against us that we must fight back, and the time being now. Even though, if like me, you have the thought in your head that your little stand up for Agriculture is small and it feels insignificant, joined together it becomes something. What we have here is not necessary the best way to display material for farmers to use but is a starting point which can improve if members feel it has value, i.e. if enough members feels that it's a good idea, we can ask for it to become a sticky thread/or a separate resource on the home page of the forum. With this in mind I have set up a poll asking the question, whether this resource has value and whether you feel it should become a more readily available resource in its own right.
There is an important rule that we ask you PLEASE to follow otherwise the thread will fail. The rule is please no chitchat or discussions, only content which you feel can help and be used by others in the defence of Agriculture.
I am going to start up Part 2 of this being another thread for people to discuss what's being said in part 1, Please please use it as this.
I have put a few bits on just to make a start, other members are going to post material in due course.
Thank you all
Found this on Country Squire, not sure if you'd class this as helpful or not...https://countrysquire.co.uk/2023/05/24/farmer/ certainly uplifting and we all need a bit of that occasionally.

Here’s a nice link clearly explaining how GWP100 is nonsense when it comes to methane and livestock and how we should use GWP* to measure greenhouse gases. It also clearly explains the carbon cycle and how livestock are part of it and cannot be blamed for global warming because they are part of it

Anyone who says 'rewild' or 'go vegan', just show them this short film.

Nice work they have done, hedges well fenced , they now useful stock fields.
The sort of been doing here for 45 yrs give or take a few.

only a pity he didn't remark on the lasting ability of woodwork they used in the fencing and how reuse of CCA treatment would save an awful lot of Carbon release.
but yes good little video, no doubt about that.
