It's cheaper if I sold you feed barley to sow , but the end of my business when they found out
Be interested what the rpa think when they see an invoice for feed Sunflowers 🌻
If someone wants some I look into the price but off the cuff ÂŁ3.20 kg
I'm sure it may well be cheaper I'm a pet shop
Like I said they can buy uncertified seed of a farmer and bag it without any official tickets that all cost money
If the feed sunflowers deliver the aim, the Rpa have no grounds for comment.

And TBH none of this SFI stuff rests easy with me at all because of:
A) it’s immoral to be wasting land when others go hungry
B) I don’t like micro management by an incompetent State who pander to those with no idea.
But I can’t fight the tide and while I’m busy trying to make the most of my wife’s limited life expectancy then SFI will do as a stop gap.
In your position have you seriously considered putting the lot in and have a few yrs off to spend time with your wife?

The whole point is that it's cheaper from the pet shop.

Out of interest, how much per kilo for sunflowers?

I seriously consider putting the lot in with every day that passes. Struggling to get fertiliser on. First wouldn’t travel. Now too windy. Absolutely fed up of trying to grow anything.
I have! 300 hectares. Have projects which are on going that in the long term will make me more money than this charity farming lark. Hopefully in 3 years time The farm will be in a better health. And I’ll enjoy seeing more wildlife on the farm.

I bought a 20 kg bag last year for a plot we plant every year. Also mixed some in with the game plots for the shoot. Seemed to grow ok . 71413003858__868ABF08-9577-4E56-AD98-0A264E877531.jpeg71413001817__060C4339-1310-44B3-97F7-DE59A2F1A0CE.jpeg
