For a vac, oil, gas and proper check over, £120-150 would be a very fair price and should take around 1 - 1.5hrs on site.
Any remedial or servicing work eg cleaning condensor, tightening fan belts, blocked cab filters and travel would be on top.

Had mine done at local car mechanic, he was most concerned at charging me for 1700g of gas when cars are like 300g!!
£80 I was plenty happy enough any way!

Sounds like taking a tractor to a mechanic saves you £££ for this job!

Just pulling this up again. Had a set of aircon services and top-ups done on tractors and combine recently.

Approx £160-180 for a tractor, £350 for combine, callout, pressure test and gas included.

More than I was expecting but two thirds of the cost was the gas at £65/kg.

Hopefully they won't need doing again for a good while.

Done with machine I assume, expensive way in most cases if only a small top up is required as they have to go through the whole vac and refill process and then charge for full re gas amount. Old school man with gauges might only have needed to put in 100g of gas.
Unless of course there was repair work to do.
