Airless Spray Gun

What cheap Airless Spray Gun would be good enough for occasional use on old farms machines. Maybe touching up a haybob for example or spraying the tailboard of a trailer. No fancy work involved.

You can get rattle cans filled with colour of your choice from good auto paint places (proper places, not Halfords).
The cans have a proper fan nozzle too not those cheap rattle cans off the shelf.
Loads better way to do it. May as well use a brush as an airless in my opinion.

Gravity fed spray gun easier , I have both airless not great on machines to much paint at once .

Not cheap at all. £16 for a rattle can with 225ml of paint in 500mm can.

Look on eBay, there are airless sprayers for about £150. They are ok for solvent paint. Don’t buy a crappy gravity feed gun, you’ll regret it every time you use it. If I were in your position and have a compressor, I would buy a secondhand devilbiss pri or gti gravity feed. They are more than up to the task for what you’re looking to do.

Yes, I have a compressor. What psi is recommended for spraying with gravity gun and how much thinkers per litre of paint. Remember, I am not worried how the finished product looks like. Also I dont mind giving an extra coat.

Tin of paint should have instructions regarding thinners , I’m ruff painter mix it chuck it in spray compressor flat out always get a decent finish tho Kramp paint is good stuff I find , but I’m no expert mind I’m as ruff as it comes when paint is concerned. I painted both these items recently, my Moto is bad paint job is better than no paint n rust .
