Well that's all the cattle inside now they were making a mess outside

I enjoy having the stock in and getting into the winter routine but not in october or november if i can help it. It amazes me when people house cattle because of a few muddy gateways but i realise alot depends on your region. What they jig/poach before christmas will usually heal itself with frost/snow/rain during jan and feb

These are feeding cattle if you don't bring them in sharpish they lose all the condition they've put on during summer

Now all clipped and worked and onto winter ration hopefully get a few away before xmas I'm pleased they in its blooming wet now although mild

Too mild here also but we have a whole herd Tb test this week so we laid them in a fortnight ago to get them settled. Started weaning calves and if they settle alright half the cows might go back out.
