It’s been sold. The theory was have it as a silage back up. It’s grown on away ground. So we wholecropped 10 acres and left the rest as the silage pits where the full. How ever we now have an empty silage pit. So I will now spend the income from the wheat on buying maize.
You really can’t make this shambolic carp up.

Never had a combine on the farm before are the meters unreliable?
Feel your pain. We were intending to wholecrop barley but ended up crimping over 600t. Only upside is that it will displace soda wheat in the tmr blend.
Still, look on the bright side - maize is a better forage than wholecrop wheat
From my limited knowledge,when the meter shows a low yield it’s obviously way out, conversely if it indicates a high yield it is spot on !
Look on the positive side, you’ve had the income to buy the maize.

They need constant calibration there only as good as the information put in them . I imagine you’ve done ok whatever.
