I'm getting an unusual number of cows slipping and falling in the cowshed over the last few weeks. The concrete is grooved and seems OK. Cow's feet may be hard due to the dry weather but had no problem two years ago when it was much drier for longer than so far this year.
Had this, I put it down to an unlucky spell! It happens, wait a couple months and you may forget about it. Our sheds all grooved u can’t do much more than that

Trouble is not a cat in hells chance of half that rain in the South West .oh yea it was frosty this morning getting cows in !
Had a few sharp showers blow in over night, went out this morning.... rain gauge 15mm.
Smug as hell, but yard did took that wet, turns out the sprinkler was going for half an hour last night. Pulled my estimations in to between 1 and 3mm

Feel for you guys. As I was there 5 days ago, but normal Cumbrian weather has resumed here and things are greening up. Judging by the puddle in my pickup, the clean yards and evidence of cramming under trees, we had a fair bit of rain in a short period over night.

About 8mm here last night. Very chuffed with that. Looks like the weather will have some nuisance showers over the next fortnight. Getting second cut done before it heads could prove a challenge.
