About £80 to implant, can probably find a cheap one that's been frozen for a while somewhere it does help get cows in calf but not really worth it for cows that aren't doing 10000 litresCheap? 10er?

I have faith you'd find one for thatCheap? 10er?
I would love to one day, I need to first get my cow numbers up so serving to sexed semen and then I need to get a name for myself and my herd of cows and show I know what I'm doing when it comes to breeding and show that my cows are good enough, and that only comes with timeI’m not criticising anyone but would @Jdunn55 not have a good income stream of breeding bulls and clearing out the dead wood
I've heard of them going for free when people have emptied out their storage and don't want to keep certain embryos, not often and cant imagine they're the best embryos but does happenI have faith you'd find one for that
I'm on rented ground@Jdunn55 you need a mortgage
there definitely aboutI've heard of them going for free when people have emptied out their storage and don't want to keep certain embryos, not often and cant imagine they're the best embryos but does happen

Anyway, heres my dry cows, bull and calves, please tell me what I'm doing wrong here instead of discussing 90 thanks
How??I found running a bull with my dries resulted in 2 out of block pregnancies if that helps
Those old pet cows will break your heart, especially if they are pretty much culls.Maybe not the very very very best but having worked for the previous owner for the past 2 years I like to think I've got one or two that I atleast would consider the best
Financially you're all right in that I should sell her but as pointed out by me and others it's one cow not a herd of them if I cant afford to haveone cow to make me smile when I'm having a sh!t day I should give up now
I get that most of you are financially driven and every penny has to be counted and costed
I'm cow driven, every cow has to be treated and looked after like a princess, I expect nothing but the best for them from anyone who works with them.
I'm not going to do the embryo idea with her, imo that only works with cows that are still milking really well but just won't get in calf I might try that in a day or two but I'm not sure how easy calving he would be on a dairy cowWhy not run the bull with Bertha? Stick him in a week before her return date and pull him out the day after serving.
This embryo Idea is throwing good money after bad when the bull is right there
Well, when a bull fancies a cow they take a bit of quiet time together.....How??
But surely if they're dry they would be in-calf?!Well, when a bull fancies a cow they take a bit of quiet time together.....
Like most of us, the buffalo is winging itBut surely if they're dry they would be in-calf?!
I think he means a mortgage focuses the mind from a business pov, gets you out of bed in a morningI'm on rented ground
At a guess I would think they weren’t in calfBut surely if they're dry they would be in-calf?!
Would you calve them in or cull them ?I found running a bull with my dries resulted in 2 out of block pregnancies if that helps
