I do, I wouldnt know what a kexxtone bolus is if it smacked me in the face, but if selling a product it should be safe!

Harvesters have metal detectors on them so they won’t be picked up or chopped to pieces

Get real . Seen artificial flowers detected but a hammer head allowed in ,they are good but why ask them to stop something that just should not be there

Is the spring not retained inside the plastic part of the bolus?
I take it the springs pass through the cows stomach and ends up in the dung? What if it sticks somewhere on the way through.
I wouldn't want to put that down the throat of my cows in the first place.

Moved a bit further on today, placed timber pads to sit the slats on. Also set up and sealed the form work to hold the concrete above the channel tops and beside and below the slats. The yard falls the opposite way to the channel. We’ll place the slats tomorrow and concrete on Friday, a weak mix up to 4/5” below finished floor level then a strong mix to the top.
Also wrestled a 63mm water pipe to the side so we can pump dirty water to the end if it becomes a bit sticky and stodgy.

They would just argue that theres no ethical/humane way to kill anything that doesnt want to die 
I've had the argument with them before, I always end up being sworn at and called names before being blocked by them, which I assume means I've won

Kextones are fairly dodgy in my view anyway should be vet only use some people way over using them

What are they and what are they meant to do? I just assumed it was a type of bolus for minerals but from the above they're a bit more specialised? Something to do with ketosis??

They are used mainly on a fat cow pre calving so the sudden change In condition doesn’t cause ketosis Bertha would be an animal that would benefit they contain monensin which gets you about 7percent better feed conversion efficiency so the problems occur in my view in misuse as you get folk doing lots of cows to save money on cake but it’s hormone so it’s fairly dodgy ground in my view
