Open the gate and let them into the neighbours or something, anything! they are eating your profit/cash/next years feed/cheap milk etc.

They have got the run of the silage ground aswell but they seem to want to stick on the pastures

Sheep on a grazing block. I can understand silage fields in November but...... cows will pull winter grass down to sufficient levels and put milk In the tank

Massive kick through the fence it's just they tend to run around like idiots and straight through it. We normally send them into a nice big field plenty of space for the first grazing to let them get it out of their system and then it all cools down to some proper grazing.

I'd have probably shot the sheep farmer that asked to let sheep anywhere near my dairy farm.....

Well i do like the sound of threatening the sheep with some mint sauce, but I now seem to be lambing them for him. Told me they weren't due til mid March, today there seems to be few lambs I have seen running about. Phoned him today to tell him and all I got was "I might pop up in a day or 2 to check there alright will you go and have a look at them and give me a call back if there is any problems, but when I last came to see them on Friday they were all alright"

Sell the lambs as pets. 20 quid in the local markets, teach him a lesson. FFD some sheep farmers make the rest of them look bad, and wonder why dairy farmers round here are nervous about allowing them in.
