till the council closed a crossing on the A303, we were a rat run for 3 schools, amazing how people can get so upset, at the thought of a late delivery of child, to school, you just stood in the middle of the road, and ignored the comments, a fair few thought they could 'creep' through, they learn't. The difference in traffic, since they closed the crossing was quite staggering, unless there is a hold up, then it's nearly nose to tale !
At college in newton abbot, that 9.30 am was critical, in how fast you could get to college, missing it, meant queuing.

Just a but jealous of the pictures of cows out and tractors on fields. Had a chat with a local rep today who meassures rainfall and we have had 240mm of rain in February, and our heavy land is sodden. When checking the mole trapos today, in nice sunshine I might add, the tunnels were full of water.
However with the good weather forecast I am sure in 5 days things will look better. Also need to get slurry out now, as pit is over the top!!

been walking grass today, these last few days grass is growing, just a bit to wet yet, to get the cows out, and march can be a 'difficult' month, patience needed for a few more days, that and we haven't got going calving yet.

Haven't had a tb test for twelve months had one today and past it, can't remember that happening in the last 20 years. And to top it off all heifers in calf in seven week period. Not being an easy winter but today was good.
